School’s out, scream and shout! The bell rings and you try and squirm through the large crowd of people streaming out of the school’s doors. You look around trying to spot your friends. In 7 hours you’re leaving on your big summer trip. It's finally summer vacation, and this year you and your family will visit the top 5 vacation spots in the world.
First, you stop in New York, New York, which is the second best vacation spot on the list. When you get there, you go to Times Square, and stay all day until night time to see all of the billboards light up. The next day, you go to see your favorite broadway show with your mom and sister. You go to one of the biggest shopping malls in the US, and spend loads of money buying souvenirs for your friends and family. New York is known as “the city that never sleeps” most likely because of its big electronic billboards and the large amount of people who live there or go on vacation there. You stay in New York for 6 days, and you just love it there!

For the second part of your trip you fly to Rome, Italy which is the third best vacation spot on the list. This is personally the place you were the most excited about going to because it is known for being elegant, historic, and just plain out fun! The day you get there you are very jetlagged while driving to visit the amazing Pantheon. You have heard so many things about it, and it seems extremely interesting. Right after, you go straight to the Coliseum because your parents make you. While you are there, you actually think it’s pretty amazing and forget about wanting to go to the pool at your hotel. You’ll miss Rome, but you will never forget the unforgettable experience.
While you’re in Europe, you take a quick two hour flight from Rome to Paris, France! You’re completely jetlagged for the first day so you decide to lay low and rest. The next day you and your family take a bus down the Champs Elysees towards the Eiffel Tower to take pictures. On the ride, you pass the Sainte Chapelle, and the Notre Dame de Paris. You take lots of pictures and make so many new memories. The next morning, you buy lots of baguettes for breakfast before your flight because they are your absolute favorite. You’re sad to leave because you really enjoyed Paris more than you thought you would.
Your second to final vacation spot is London, England, it is number five on the list!

You are psyched for this trip because you have loved all the other spots in Europe so far. You’re gonna go see some of the most renowned landmarks in London: The London Eye, Big Ben, and the Tower Bridge. You ride the London Eye on your first day and the view from the top is just amazing! You want to stay on it for the whole day but you still have to visit the other places too. On your way to Big Ben, you take a detour and drive over the infamous tower bridge taking lots of pictures. The next day, you go to Buckingham palace and watch the changing of the guard. You stay in your hotel and relax for the rest of the day, excited for what you’ll do next. The next morning you get up early because of your jet lag and watch the sunrise. When the rest of your family wakes up, you head toward the bus stop to ride the red double decker tour bus across town. As you board the plane, you say goodbye to Europe feeling sad but happy for the memories.
Sadly, you’re landing at your very final vacation spot which is Cancun, Mexico.

Cancun is fourth on the top vacation spots. This flight was 12 hours long so you are dead tired! The first day you lay by the pool with a cool drin in hand enjoying the view. The next day you go into town to do a little shopping with your mom. That night, you eat dinner on the beach and enjoy the sunset knowing that summer is coming to a close. You try and make the most of your last few days so you hit the beach everyday. At the beach, you go snorkeling, surfing, and just sit on a sun chair eating chips and guac. Out of all your other trips, this one was the most relaxing yet most fun. The weather is amazing and you wish you could stay in Cancun forever.
School starts in two weeks and you dread it more and more as summer fades away. You are excited to see your friends because you didn’t get a chance to see them at all over the break. Your trip was unforgettable and you hope to go back to every place that you visited. Bye summer, until next year.
